【女子U17世界選手権2026】日本代表、ラウンド16でトルコにストレート負け…9〜16位順位決定戦へ

チリ（サンティアゴ、サンフェリペ、ロスアンデス）で開催されている「2026年女子U17世界選手権」（8月6日〜16日）は13日（木）、決勝トーナメント1回戦（ラウンド16）が行われ、予選ラウンドをグループC 3位（2勝3敗）で突破した日本代表がトルコ代表と対戦しました。

■ 試合展開

第1セット（18-25）： 序盤からトルコにリードを許す展開。日本は一時3点差まで詰め寄る場面も見せましたが、トルコの高さとパワフルな攻撃に苦戦し、18-25でセットを落とします。

第2セット（7-25）： 終始防戦一方となり、積み重なったミスから大差をつけられ、7-25で落とします。

第3セット（23-25）： 後がなくなった日本は第3セット序盤から猛反撃を開始。終盤には20-19とリードを奪う健闘を見せましたが、20点超えの攻防で一歩及ばず23-25で落とし、セットカウント0-3でストレート負けを喫しました。

この試合では、ミドルブロッカーの水野奏選手が2本のブロックを含むチーム最多の9得点を挙げ、チームを牽引しました。

ラウンド16で敗れた日本代表は、9位〜16位の順位決定プレーオフへ回ることになります。次戦は15日（土）午前9:00より、フィリピン代表と対戦予定です。
